Shelita Pita is a pseudonym I use, which is a nod to the nickname I've had most of my life. The full nickname was Shelita Fajita Pita, thanks to my wonderful big brother, Joseph.
I started writing books in the year 2000 when my daughter was about to be born. I often read my books to her, and later, when my son came along, to him as well. Nieces, nephews, friends, and family were all shown my books, and they always seemed to be a big hit. It was because of this I made it my motivation to one day publish and share my books with the world. I've started a young adult book series called "My Five Aunts," with book one already published and book two already started. I also have a collection of children's books that are soon to be released.

I really enjoyed this book. A great combination of funny, heart touching moments, suspense and love! It wasn't a romance novel like the bookstores are so overran with today. Just a great blend of entertainment. Thank you!
